I reserved 3 rooms for my family and was told I could manage their accounts to reserve parks, etc. MyDisneyExperience is showing that we are managed by a family member who is no longer with us. Can you let me know how I can manage our accounts? Thx :)

Welcome to planDisney, Lorien!

Nothing brings family together quite like a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. I have my grandparents to thank for fostering my love of Disney vacations and I know they would be proud of my efforts to continue their legacy of magical memories.

I'm sorry to hear that one of the Disney legends in your family is no longer with us. I understand you and some family members have My Disney Experience account profiles housed under that loved one's inactive My Disney Experience account. Cast Member assistance is needed to first transfer the plans housed in your account profile to a newly created My Disney Experience account and then to switch your family members' plans to being managed by you. Someone at the My Disney Experience, MagicBand, and MagicBand+ number, (407) 939-4357, has the special kind of pixie dust needed to assist you. Before calling, you should go ahead and create your own My Disney Experience account and have the email address of the account that currently manages your account profile on hand.

Once you have officially assumed the role of Disney planner for your family, you can view and make plans for everyone on your Family and Friends list. This includes linking various vacation entitlements, making dining reservations, purchasing Disney Genie+ service, making Lightning Lane reservations, etc.
