Hello, Judy!
Welcome to planDisney, and congratulations on the celebration of your son's wedding! I'm sure it's incredibly exciting to watch him start his own "Happily Ever After" and I love that you want to sprinkle a little extra pixie dust on his honeymoon.
I just discovered the perfect welcome gift for your son and his new bride!
The "Happily Ever After Celebration" from Disney Floral & Gifts includes Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse wedding hats (a must for a honeymoon in the parks) and delightful Disneyland Resort robes (I've been tempted to buy these in the gift shop SO many times). My favorite part is that both of these items can be personalized with their names in advance! The package also includes a photo frame, which would be perfect for a photo from the parks with their new, matching ears. Such a memorable and fun gift!
If that package doesn't feel like a magical fit you can also
contact a Dream Maker using the information here on their webpage to ask questions.
You could also make them a reservation for an
Enchanting Extra during their visit! My personal favorite is the
World of Color Dessert Party, which includes cheese, fruit, dessert, and two adult beverages in addition to the best seat in the park to enjoy the show. Or if the Force is with them, you could make reservations for them to scavenge parts and
build their own unique Lightsabers!
There are some especially romantic dining opportunities at the Disneyland Resort. The
Blue Bayou is gorgeous (tell them to check in a few minutes early and ask for a waterside table) and
Carthay Circle is a great choice if your son and his bride are foodies! Reservations are highly recommended and can usually be booked 60 days in advance.
Judy, you are an awesome mom and an amazing fairy godmother! I'm sure your son and his new wife will have a completely magical time. If you have more questions please
send me a note here and I'd be happy to help!Keep moving forward!
