I reserved and purchased tickets for 4 people for July 17th. There’s a family conflict and we’re wondering if we could switch the date to July 16th?

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Katie!

Welcome to planDisney. I’m glad you found us and sent your Disneyland Resort question. I hope you’re having fun planning the magical details of your family’s summertime visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!

I’m sorry to hear your plans have changed, but yes, you can absolutely secure a different theme park reservation day if necessary. The theme park reservations you already have can’t be modified, but you can cancel it and book a new one either online or using the Disneyland mobile app. Log into your account on Disneyland.com and visit “Ticket and Reservation Details” under the “My Disneyland” tab. Select “View My Park Reservations” and then click the “cancel” button next to the reservations you no longer need. Or, on the home screen of the Disneyland mobile app under the “Ticket and Reservation Details” heading, tap “Learn More” and then “View My Park Reservations” to cancel. However, I suggest checking the availability of reservations for your new date and/or theme park before canceling your original reservation.

I hope this answers your question, Katie, and that your vacation is a dream come true! Please visit us again with more questions as your trip countdown continues.

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
