I have reserved a meal on the go package for the main street electrical parade and I wanted to know where are the viewing areas and the difference between the reserved viewing area and just standing on the side of the parade without purchasing this package

Hello, Karen! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I saw the Main Street Electrical Parade just last week and it was phenomenal!

The Main Street Electrical Parade On-The-Go Package at Aladdin's Oasis is a great way to get a delicious meal and reserve your spot ahead of time for the parade. The viewing area for this package is located by "it's a small world." You will receive a voucher when you purchase your meal at Aladdin's Oasis that will list where to go and when to arrive at the viewing area. The perk with this dining package is you know you will have a spot waiting for you. The parade has proved to be really popular so space becomes limited along the parade route and the best spots fill in quickly. You will be able to enjoy the park until it's time to enter the viewing area without worrying where to go or whether there will be room.

Otherwise, you can view the parade from any of the roped off sidewalks and areas from "it's a small world" all the way down to Town Square. The parade is a joy to watch from any area along the route, but you might enjoy the convenience of having your spot reserved for you.

Have a great time at the Disneyland Resort!
