I reserved Hoop de do seats, category 1 this morning for the 8:30PM show. I heard it only takes one DDP point instead of two in that category for the late seating only. Am I correct? If not, should I rebook for category 2? Thanks, moms.

    Hi Jaynee!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

This is a bit confusing.  I just had to sort this all out when I made our Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue reservations for spring break.

Basically, any showing will require two table credits from the Disney Dining Plan.  The only difference is that the Dining Plan can only be used for Category 2 and Category 3 seating during the first two shows.  During the 8:30 show, you can use the Dining Plan for all three Categories of seating.  They will all still use two entitlements, though.

I hope that made sense!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
