Hi David!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort is a fantastic way to get the feel of camping, while still getting to enjoy some of the finer amenities such as access to a modern kitchen and full indoor bathroom. The Cabins also offer a private patio and charcoal grill. I love this area because it feels so private and like you are living in nature, but it is only a 10-minute boat ride to
Magic Kingdom park.
Did you know that you can pre-order a pantry full of fresh groceries before your arrival? I love to be stocked up with fresh produce, coffee, snacks, and desserts. If you place an order, your selections will be stocked in your cabin after 5:00 PM on the day of check-in.
Golf Cart Rental is available up to one year in advance of your stay. Due to the demand for rental, I recommend reserving as soon as possible. It has been my experience that there are a few 6-person Golf Carts available to rent. When you call to reserve your Golf Cart, you can place a request; however, this request is not a guarantee. You will be placed on a waiting list for your reservation dates. At arrival, you should remind the Cast Member that you requested a 6-person Golf Cart, and they will check availability.
I do recommend renting a Golf Cart or two since the Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and the Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort are beautiful and a lot of fun to explore. Due to the vast size of this resort, it is much more enjoyable to explore with a Golf Cart!
I hope that you have a magical time!
