Hello, I reserved for a family suite room at Art of Animation resort. How will I know what part of the resort my family with be staying in? I got an email showing little mermaid but I thought little mermaid didn’t have family suites?

Hi there, Abigail! Thanks for swimming by planDisney today! It's always a splashing good time meeting another Floridian. Let's go under the sea for your adventure at the Walt Disney World Resort!

I think someone might have thrown a whozit or a whatzit into your plans, Abigail. You're right that the Little Mermaid section of Disney's Art of Animation Resort is all standard rooms, not family suites. Those are located in the Cars, Lion King, and Finding Nemo buildings. Honestly, my best advice to you is to call Disney's Guest Relations number and ask a Cast Member to check your Resort hotel reservation for you. They'll be able to review all of the details and get your plans back on course.

Once that's done, you can get back to dreaming about your vacation at Disney's Art of Animation Resort! It's so much fun for the whole mer-family. We love staying there, especially when it's time to take a dip in the Big Blue Pool after a busy day in the Theme Parks. And don't forget to explore all of the larger-than-life versions of some of your favorite Disney pals. You'll come away with some truly unforgettable photos!

Oh, and be sure you've downloaded the My Disney Experience app on your phone before you go! You'll definitely need it for Mobile Ordering your meals at the Landscape of Flavors food court. It's so convenient to place your breakfast order from your room and run over to pick it up before heading out to the Parks!

I hope this helps your Walt Disney World vacation go swimmingly, Abigail. Please come see us again if you have any more questions!

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

    Kathy K.

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
