Hello....we have reserved an ECV rental from Scooterbug for our stay coming up. Question regarding charging of an ECV. They have a limited range so if the battery becomes low during the day, are there places to charge?

Hey there Cirese and welcome to planDisney!

We're so happy to see you here and I hope I can help you make your upcoming visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth the best one ever. ECVs or Electric Conveyance Vehicles are a very important part of my family's planning process because we have several people with mobility issues. On my last couple of visits with my mom, we were able to take notice of what to expect in the theme parks.

One of the easiest places to get a little extra power to keep you rolling is at a restaurant! While you're recharging and fueling up your body, you can also be doing the same for your ECV.  And if all else fails speak with a Cast Member, they're always happy to point you in the right direction.

A few pro-tips to keep you on the move all day without ever needing a charge:

    1. Make sure to charge that ECV at night. We made it a purpose to plug it in as soon as we were back at our Disney Resorts Collection hotel for the night and never once had to stop to recharge it while going about our day.

    2. Turn your ECV off whenever you're stationary like during long snack breaks and when watching parades.

Cirese, follow these Fairy GodTaylor tips and you ought to be rolling in style for a full Disney Day. If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back for another chat!

    Happy planning!
