Hey there, Jennifer!
Welcome back to planDisney! I'm so excited to see that you have another magical adventure at the Most Magical Place on Earth right on the horizon. It sounds like your dining reservations have been secured and your planning is off to a practically perfect start. To me, the dining experiences at Walt Disney World Resort are just as important and entertaining as the theme parks themselves, so let's make sure your reservations are all set and ready to go!
The Walt Disney World restaurants have different
cancelation and modification policies, so I suggest checking the policy for the dining experience you need to change on its webpage on the
Walt Disney World website. However, I would not fret. I have been in this exact situation where someone in my party was unable to attend a dining reservation, but the rest of us still checked in for our reservation with no issues or extra charges. When you check in with the Cast Member at the restaurant podium (or on the My Disney Experience app), just let them know that only two guests will be dining.
Speaking of dining reservations, I recommend making one at
Olivia's Cafe, located right at your Resort, Old Key West. It's open for brunch and dinner and is a hidden gem, in my opinion. I recommend the Conch Fritters. Bon appetit!
I hope this helps, Jennifer, and I hope you have the most magical adventure full of food and fun. Please feel free to stop by any time with any questions you have. You've got a friend in planDisney!
See ya real soon,
Mandy
