    I just reserved dinner for 8:45pm at The Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom - my questions are - what time does the restaurant stay open to and are the characters still there at this time?

    Hi Melissa!

    The Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom Park is a great choice for a character meal at Walt Disney World!  The food selections are fantastic and it's a great opportunity to visit with Winnie the Pooh and friends. My kids especially love the soft service ice cream and toppings!

    The Crystal Palace and most in-park restaurants stops seating guests when the park closes for the day.  I have had several dining reservations in the past for 5 minutes before official park closing and my party has literally been the last guests left at Hollywood & Vine at Disney's Hollywood Studios and a couple of times at Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort.  I can assure you that you will not feel rushed and will have plenty of time to take photos and get autographs with the pals.  Your server will make sure every character has visited with your family before they retire for the evening.  Additionally, every time we've eaten late at a buffet-style restaurant, hot and fresh food was still being served, so there's no worry you'll be stuck with what is leftover.
