Hiya Deborah!
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is one of my favorite places to visit at the Walt Disney World Resort! The level of detail and design is just incredible, and I love the message of conservation and care.
The
Caring for Giants Tour is a great pick! You'll get to enjoy about 60 minutes with your tour guide learning all about the beautiful elephants that call the park home. The tour also goes through some backstage areas, which is super cool to see! Because your journey to the observation area is partially backstage, you won't see all the wildlife that the savannah has to offer. I definitely wouldn't skip out on
Kilimanjaro Safaris either before or after your tour!
One of the coolest things about Kilimanjaro Safaris is that no safari is ever the same! The animals are roaming free in their habitats, so you never know when a young zebra will get the zoomies or a giraffe will stop for a snack and cause a "giraffic-jam" on the road. Different times of day can also impact the animals, so it's fun to try a safari first thing in the morning or toward the end of the day.
My favorite way to prepare for a visit to Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is by watching
"Magic of Disney's Animal Kingdom" on Disney+ at home! There are two seasons of the show that you can enjoy, and each episode gets you up close and personal with the animals in the parks and the wonderful team that takes care of them. You might even see some of the stars of the show during your visit!
Enjoy the Caring for Giants Tour, Deborah! I hope it's an unforgettable experience...because an elephant never forgets!
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
