I reserved 3 cabins, one for my husband & I, and 2 others with each of our daughters with their children. Can I sleep with the grandchildren instead of one of our daughters to give the daughter a break?

Ahoy there, Kathy! Welcome to planDisney. I'm so glad you stopped by with your Disney Cruise Line question. Planning your next Disney adventure is half the fun, and I love that you're thinking ahead to your holiday sailing with the family. Let's dive right in, shall we?

What an awesome grandma you are - it's so sweet that you're trying to give your daughters a little break. They could sneak in some sister time at one of the fantastic onboard nightclubs and lounges! You absolutely can bunk with the grandkids during your sailing. As long as there is a Guest aged 21 or older in each stateroom, it's no problem at all! I do recommend giving your Stateroom Host a heads-up in case you need extra bedding or towels, but rest assured, you can have a grandma sleepover.

To make the occasion even more memorable, contact Room Service to order cookies and milk to the room - this was always a special bedtime treat when my girls were younger! You can also pack some special surprises for the grandkids, like new books to read at bedtime, or sand toys for beach days.

Kathy, I hope this information is just what you were hoping to hear! Your family is going to have an amazing time together on your DCL vacation, and I know your family will appreciate your thoughtfulness. Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney, and please come see us again if we can help with any other questions to make your cruise practically perfect!
