Hi Rebecca!
It is with deepest pride and greatest pleasure that we welcome you to planDisney! Your Disney cruise will soon be here. It's absolutely the best way to start 2022! Let me invite you to relax, let us pull up a chair as we proudly present...your answer.
Now that you have been successful in reserving adult dining at either
Palo or
Remy, I do not want you to cancel that reservation! So let me assure you that even though Disney’s Oceaneer Club and Disney’s Oceaneer Lab are requiring kids to have a reservation, getting extra time in those Youth Clubs has been working out for Guests. I would talk to the Cast Members at your first opportunity, preferably during the Open House hours to verify that your kiddo(s) can stay during your dinner.
On the off chance that your kids could not be accommodated, you would have time to possibly modify your dining reservation through
Guest Services in lieu of cancelling. (Just an FYI: currently, Guests need to use the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app to set a time to meet with Guest Services.) But everything I have been hearing is that Guests have had great success in adding additional time in the
Youth Clubs for their kids at this time. Granted, this always depends on the individual sailing and how busy the Youth Clubs are, but I would go into it very optimistic that you will get to have that grown-ups date night as planned.
“Be our guest” again at planDisney if we can SERVE up some more planning advice and DISH about Disney Cruise Line. Wishing you an exceptional dining experience at Palo or Remy and a fabulous adventure at sea.
Bon Appétit and Bon Voyage!
Sherry
