Hi! If I reserve an umbrella at Typhoon Lagoon do I have to be there right at opening or can I show up later in the day and it will still be waiting for me?

Hiya, Kathryn! Welcome back to planDisney!

Thanks for sharing your question with us. With its wonderfully themed spaces and super fun attractions, Typhoon Lagoon is one of my favorite spots in all of Walt Disney World. I’m always happy to help someone track down the info they need to enjoy their day there, so let’s dive right in!

Reserving an umbrella at Typhoon Lagoon is a great idea if you plan to spend a lot of time at the water park, and I’m pleased to share that the reservation is good for the whole day. You can arrive at Typhoon Lagoon any time after opening, and you’ll find your reserved spot waiting for you. A Typhoon Lagoon Umbrella includes:

    - A beach umbrella
    - 2 reserved lunge chairs
    - 2 beach chairs
    - A drink table
    - Towels

I haven’t personally rented an umbrella, but I reserved a Beachcomber Shack for my family on our last visit. Having our own dedicated space made it a really magical day, and I’m sure you’ll love it. Speaking of things you’ll love, make sure to check out Miss Adventure Falls and Crush ‘n’ Gusher when you visit. Those two were our family favorites.

I hope you have a wonderful visit to Walt Disney World and Typhoon Lagoon, Kathryn! Pop right back if you have any other questions. Your planDisney pals are here to help!

    Magical travels!
