Hi Nicole,
Welcome to planDisney! I'm so happy you are looking forward to a magical Walt Disney World vacation.
To get yourself all set for a visit this month, your main decisions will be what kind of tickets are best for you and whether you want to reserve a room at a Walt Disney World resort.
As a Florida resident, I'd suggest you start by taking a look at all the
current special offers for those of us who live in the Sunshine State. The three- and four-day
Discover Disney ticket offer is a fabulous value, especially if you visit just once a year. You can purchase these tickets online and verify your Florida residency by adding the information from your Florida drivers license, state issued ID or Florida-based military ID.
You can make
reservations for a Walt Disney World resort online as well. Or check out the
special ticket and resort offer that's valid through July 25.
That can all be a little daunting, especially since I believe you want to arrive in a few days. The easiest, least stressful way for you to understand all your options and get your reservations locked in would probably be to
call a Walt Disney World reservation cast member to help you.
Once that is done, then you can take a little time to think about your theme park itinerary. Some of my favorite new attractions or special events this springs include the gorgeous
Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away parade at Magic Kingdom; the
Epcot International Festival of the Arts through February 23, followed by the
Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival beginning March 4; and the fun
Zootopia: Better Together! show in the Tree of Life Theater at Animal Kingdom.
The
My Disney Experience Mobile App will be your friend before and during your trip. Within the app, you can manage your tickets, resort and dining reservations, monitor wait times and showtimes, find directions and even locate your car.
Happy planning, Nicole, and see ya' real soon!
Wilma
