how do I reserve a time in Star Wars Disneyworld? We will be there 7/8/2023

Bright Suns, Caroline, and welcome to planDisney! Are you getting excited about spending some time at Black Spire Outpost on the planet Batuu? It's a great idea to get all your Droids in a row right now before you take off, and I'm happy to let you know what you need in order to visit.

Caroline, you do not need to reserve a time to enter Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. All you will need is a valid ticket and a Disney Park Pass reservation for Disney's Hollywood Studios for the day you want to go. Once you have tapped into the Theme Park, you can head back to Batuu at your leisure, no reservations required!

You can, however, reserve a time to ride Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance by purchasing an Individual Lightning Lane. They go on sale at 7:00 AM if you're staying at a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, or at the Theme Park's official opening time if you're staying somewhere off-site. You can purchase an Individual Lightning Lane through the My Disney Experience app, and it will allow you to select a time to come back and ride the attraction with a shorter wait time. Both of the attractions inside Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge also have a standby line, so a Lightning Lane reservation is not required. You can just hop in line whenever you're ready!

'Til the Spire, Caroline, and may the Force be with you!

Meet the Panelist: Jessica, Texas

I'm a personal stylist and I live in Texas with my husband and our three rescue animals. We are Disney Parks-obsessed and love enjoying all the magic that's out there especially for grown-ups. In fact, we even opted out of a tropical honeymoon to spend a blissful week at Walt Disney World Resort instead! I'm thrilled to be on the planDisney Panel and I'm excited to share everything I've learned from all of our trips and help you plan a memorable family vacation.  Learn More About Jessica
