How do i reserve a table to eat at the movies? Is it an Adr or do i buy a movie ticket for that theatre?

    Hi Amanda!

You're going to love Disney Springs. It's the first place my family goes as soon as we've checked-in to our Disney Resort Hotel. I love the sights, the sounds and the smells; it's a perfect mix of shopping, dining, entertainment and Mickey. And really, is there anything better?

You're going to love the Dine-in Movie experience at the AMC Theatre in Disney Springs. You can book your movie ticket and seats on AMC's website usually a week before the show, or you can take care of everything in person at the ticket window as you arrive. As you book your tickets, you'll be shown a seat map of the theater complete with which chairs have been claimed and which ones are open. You'll pick where you'd like to sit and once you pay those seats are yours for the night. You can literally show up 5 minutes before the trailers start without worrying about getting a good seat because they're already booked! Your table will be kind of like a larger school desk that is right in front of your movie chair, and you can order food before or during the show. It's kind of the perfect way to relax, and I always feel super efficient eating at the same time that I'm enjoying a movie.

For a different dinner-and-a-movie experience, check out the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theatre at Disney's Hollywood Studio's. This restaurant serves meals in car-booths and creates the feel of an old-timey Drive-In. They even show b-roll footage and short clips of retro horror films, classic commercials, and vintage news clips. We dined there this last March and it was so much fun!

I hope this helped, Amanda, and We'll See You Real Soon!
