Is there a way to reserve a spot for Paint The Night Parade without a dinner package? We will be there 5/14 & really want to see the show! Thank you!

    Hi Paulina!

Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I can't tell you how excited I am for the return of the Paint the Night Parade at the Disneyland Resort. I am also really looking forward to experiencing this in its new home at Disney California Adventure Park. The music and glowing lights mesmerize my whole family, even my toddler. Take a close look at some of the amazing color-changing light-up costumes as well. I can watch this parade over and over and still see new and exciting details.

While a Paint the Night Dining Package will definitely give you the assurance of a great view to watch this amazing nighttime spectacle, you will definitely be able to grab a spot along the parade route on your own. Just like any other Disney Parks parade, Guests will be lining up along the parade route and probably starting to reserve their spots within the hour before the parade starts if I had to guess. If you attend on a night with two showings of this parade, the second showing in the evening tends to usually be less busy. Make sure you check the Daily Events Schedule online or the Disneyland mobile app to check when the parade is scheduled.

I hope this helps, and please return if you have any other questions as you plan your magical vacation!
