Is there a way to reserve a space for the Holiday Gireworks?

    Welcome, Catherine!

We are so happy to have you hear at planDisney. It sounds like you are planning a visit to the Happiest Place on Earth during the merriest time of the year! With just a few days to go, I can totally appreciate wanting to put the finishing touches on your planning, and if a great view of a nighttime spectacular is a must-do, it's a good idea to see what your options are ahead of time. Let's take a look!

"Believe...In Holiday Magic" Fireworks Spectacular is a holiday must-see, in my book. There's nothing like capping off your Disneyland day with some spectacular, sparkling Disney magic. During the holiday season, A Story of Celebration: 70th Anniversary Guided Tour includes preferred viewing for the fireworks, so this would be your best bet to enjoy an unobstructed view! The 2-hour tour also includes a walk down 70 years of magic, a Lightning Lane for a select attraction, and a ride on both the Mark Twain Riverboat and Disneyland Railroad. I have had this tour on my wish-list since it was announced as part of the 70th Anniversary Celebration

I can understand if booking a tour was not in your plans for your visit. The good news is that the fireworks are high in the sky, so even watching from the end of Main Street by the Train Station is a great view. You will be immersed in the sights and sounds and get to enjoy this spectacular. There are also a few holiday happenings that include preferred viewing of A Christmas Fantasy Parade, which may be more to your liking. Both the Plaza Inn Dining Package and The Disneyland Resort Home for the Holidays Guided Tour include parade viewing.

Catherine, I hope this has been helpful as you map out your holiday visit. Don't forget to check out the Foodie Guide to earmark any must-try sweets and treats ahead of time! If you end up grabbing a spot for the fireworks early and need a sweet to pass the time, Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe near Main Street has several to choose from! I have my eyes on the Gingerbread-Cranberry Cheesecake Trifle with a Peppermint Cold Brew.

If you have any more questions or if you need another tip or two, we are always here for you at planDisney.

    Have a very merry visit!
    Tara
