Hello, Matt!
Welcome to planDisney. It sounds like you are planning a holiday trip to Disneyland Resort later this year. How fun!
In my experience, fireworks seating in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle is typically limited to invited Guests. However, a couple of possibilities may be available for the
"Believe...in Holiday Magic" nighttime spectacular. The most deluxe option would be to book a
Disneyland Resort VIP Tour. What a magical way to celebrate the season! VIP Tours typically have a 7-hour minimum and can accommodate up to 10 Guests for an hourly rate (which varies depending on the date).
When I have been lucky enough to participate in a VIP Tour, I submitted my request for fireworks viewing ahead of time. The request wasn't guaranteed, but my group was provided seats near "it's a small world," where most of the fireworks could be seen. The projections also played on the front of the attraction.
Another potential option is a
seasonal tour that includes nighttime spectacular viewing. These are fairly rare, but it never hurts to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog and Disneyland website for future announcements. Similar to Dining Packages with Parade Viewing, these may be limited to standing viewing areas (instead of chairs). I still think they are worth it, though! Those areas are usually less congested than other viewing sections along Main Street, U.S.A.
Speaking of parades, the
Plaza Inn Dining Package is a good choice for Guests who want to enjoy a tasty meal and watch
A Christmas Fantasy Parade from a reserved viewing area. I usually arrive early with popcorn and a blanket to snag a front-row spot along the curb. It's such a cute parade!
For an extra special experience, consider booking the
World of Color Dessert Party! This is my favorite way to end a fun day at Disney California Adventure Park. It typically includes treats, snacks, and beverages...plus chairs. Chairs are practically priceless at Disneyland! Guests can enjoy their snacks while watching the fabulous World of Color from their table. Reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance on the Disneyland website.
Matt, I hope this gave you some ideas for evening experiences at Disneyland. Don't hesitate to contact planDisney again if you have additional questions.
Happy holidays!
Jen
