How do you reserve the seat in front of the castle for the fireworks? The grandparents are coming and would love to sit in those. Can we reserve ahead of time?

Hi Brandi! Welcome back to planDisney! Seeing your name pop up is always a delight, and I'm super stoked to help you with your question. I can sense the excitement building up for your upcoming trip in July!

Watching Happily Ever After in front of Cinderella Castle is undoubtedly the highlight of any day at the Walt Disney World Resort. It's an iconic and unforgettable experience that always brings tears to my eyes. The show is beautiful and magical, and I cherish every single moment of it.

In the past, it was possible to book a Fastpass+ selection to enjoy an exclusive area in front of the Castle for watching the nighttime fireworks extravaganza. However, this is not available at the moment. You can still opt for a Genie+ selection to watch the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade from a dedicated area. I strongly recommend this Genie+ selection to anyone wanting to watch the Parade, especially if you travel with kids or seniors.

If you're looking to add a little more magic to your experience, the Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties offer a Pre-Party and a Post-Party, both of which provide an excellent standing spot in the Plaza Garden to watch the fireworks. It's an additional cost, but the parties offer a fantastic experience with mouthwatering desserts, a variety of cheeses, and beverages, including a selection of beer and wine for those over 21. If you want to sit down and take it all in, the Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties: Seats & Sweets is your only option at the moment. You can relax on the patio at the Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant, indulge in some delicious desserts, and sip on refreshing drinks while watching the sky light up in a dazzling display.

And if you're looking for an extraordinary experience, I highly recommend checking out the Celebration at the Top - Sip, Savor, Sparkle event at Disney's Contemporary Resort. You'll get valet parking, and once you check in at the California Grill, you'll be treated to all kinds of culinary delights like sushi, small bites, and delicious desserts. And if you're over 21, you'll enjoy complimentary drinks like California wine, beers, and cordials. When it's time for the fireworks, you'll be escorted to a private observation deck to watch the show light up the night sky over Magic Kingdom Park. And once the show is over, you'll be treated to even more delicious desserts, cordials, and coffee. Sounds terrific, doesn't it?

Brandi, I'm so glad you contacted us for help planning your trip. I'm sure your family is going to have an amazing time, regardless of whether you decide to have an extra party. If you have any other questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to let me know. I'm always here to help you and make your planning process as smooth as possible!

    Cheers
    Nilson
