Hey there, Connie! Thanks for coming to planDisney with your question. I’m so happy to hear from you.
Connie,
Electric Conveyance Vehicles (ECVs) are available for rent, however reservations cannot be made in advance, so you’ll want to arrive early to secure one.
ECV and manual wheelchair rentals are available outside the parks – look for the kiosk just east of the Disneyland Park Main Entrance.
Guests may bring their own ECVs and wheelchairs to use throughout Disneyland Resort.
I also wanted to share
certain attractions require Guests to transfer from the ECV to a manual wheelchair to experience the attraction. Other attractions offer a transfer device, or perhaps another way to transfer directly into a modified ride vehicle. Please keep in mind that Cast Members are not permitted to physically lift Guests to assist with transfers. Cast Members are extremely helpful to make your experience as comfortable as possible.
Connie, have a look at the park guides for
Guests with Disabilities – you might find them to be very useful to familiarize yourself with accommodations in place for Guests using ECVs. There is a downloadable guide for each park.
Wishing you an amazing, memorable visit!
