Hi Jeff! Welcome to planDisney.
Oh Boy! In two short days, you arrive at
Walt Disney World Resort during
The World's Most Magical Celebration. At all the theme parks, look for the golden
Disney Fab 50 Character Collection statues. You can find Nemo to the right of the
Tree of Life at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. At
Magic Kingdom Park, Mickey and Minnie Mouse are located in the Hub.
Walt Disney World Resort works every day to make sure its parks are accessible for all to enjoy. This includes day rentals at all theme and water parks and
Disney Springs for both
Wheelchairs and
Electronic Conveyance Vehicles (ECVs). Rentals are on a first-come, first-serve basis. No reservations are accepted. ECVs may not be taken outside of the parks, but you can show your receipt at another location for another vehicle. If you leave the same park and return, the Cast Members will hold your ECV for you. If you happen to be a guest of a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, I highly recommend using the Disney Featured Provider, Scooterbug for all your mobility rentals at Walt Disney World. As an official provider, Bell Services will accept deliveries and returns of your rental without you being present. I have personally used their services for my father. I could not have been happier with Scooterbug. Google their name for a phone number and online registration information. My pro tip is to bring a colorful ribbon to tie on your ECV to identify your ride more easily in a sea of strollers and vehicles.
Your visit is during the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. Ride on over to one of the
outdoor kitchens for fresh culinary delights. I recently had the Spicy Hot Dog with Pineapple Chutney and Plantain Chips from Pineapple Promenade near the Port of Entry. Stay until the sun goes down and the iconic
Spaceship Earth comes to shimmering EARidescent life during
Beacons of Magic.
Keeping it Magical,
Cindy
