When can I “reserve” rides on my lightning pass? Before I enter the park?

Hey there, hi there, Anne! We are so glad you've stopped by planDisney to ask us your important planning question! Let's get you an answer!

I am thrilled to hear that you have purchased Lightning Lane Multi Pass with your ticket purchase. This is a really great way to make the most of your Disneyland adventure and make sure you get the most out of your day! You will be able to reserve your first Lightning Lane selection as soon as you've scanned into and entered the park for the day. It definitely is helpful to be at the park for rope drop at possible so that you can start knocking attractions off your list.

I recommend downloading the Disneyland app ahead of your visit to make sure that your tickets are linked, and once you've used the app to scan into the park, you can book your first Lightning Lane. Another great feature of the app is the option to mobile order from participating locations. I love being able to be in a queue for an attraction and mobile order a snack or my next meal to grab in between my next Lightning Lane or plan.

Anne, thanks so much for stopping by! See you real soon!

All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
