Can you reserve rides or is it just first come first serve? If so how? Is 60 days the earliest you can make restaurant reservations?

    Hey Regina!

A warm welcome to planDisney. I am thrilled to answer your wondEARful questions today, Regina! Thank you for sending them our way.

As part of the phased reopening of Walt Disney World Resort, FastPass+ service has been temporarily suspended. Presently, all Walt Disney World Resort attractions operate a regular, standby queue only. You do not need any special reservations, FastPass+ entitlements, or passes to enter Walt Disney World Resort attraction queues.

I have found that even though there is no FastPass+ service or any sort of ride reservation system in place, standby queues are not overwhelmingly long. Please keep in mind that due to social distancing protocols, queues may look longer than they are. Please check posted wait times at all attractions before joining the queue.

However, you do need a Disney Park Pass theme park reservation in addition to your valid theme park admission ticket to enter the theme park in the first place. Please click here to learn more about Disney Park Pass theme park reservations. I encourage you to make your theme park reservations as soon as you have your theme park tickets, as they are very popular and subject to availability.

In regards to advance dining reservations, Guests may make reservations for dining and other experiences 60 days in advance of their arrival. However, Disney Resorts Collection hotel Guests can make reservations up to 60 days in advance plus the length of their stay (up to 10 days). This gives them a slightly longer window and is a great benefit of being a Disney Resorts Collection hotel Guest. Please keep in mind that the change from advance dining reservations being available 180 days in advance to only 60 days was a part of the experience updates taking place during the phased reopening of Walt Disney World Resort.
