Welcome to planDisney, Barbara! Thanks for sharing your question with us!
It looks like you’re planning a magic-filled summer vacation. How exciting!
There is so much to look forward to this summer at Walt Disney World, including the return of beloved attractions, new shows, and special events. You’re going to have a fantastic time!
Walt Disney World Resort hotel pools are reserved for guests staying at that specific hotel. Unfortunately, having a reservation at a hotel dining location does not grant you access to the pool areas. If you are considering making a reservation at a Walt Disney World hotel and would like to learn more about a hotel’s pools and other amenities, you can find that information on each hotel’s homepage underneath the “Recreation” tab.
I know the pool is one of the most important things for my family when we are choosing a Walt Disney World hotel (after budget, of course). Here are my favorite pools for each resort category.
- Value Resort:
All-Star Music Resort. The Calypso Pool has an amazing Three Caballeros fountain, and the Piano Pool leisure pool is a great place to relax.
- Moderate Resort:
Caribbean Beach Resort. I’ll admit that I haven’t personally been to the Fuentes del Morro Pool yet, but it always looks like so much fun when we’re going by in the Disney Skyliner.
- Deluxe Resort:
Beach Club Resort. The sand-bottomed Stormalong Bay is my favorite of all the hotel pools. It has a huge water slide, a lazy river, and a big sand play area for kids. It's the best of the best.
Barbara, I hope this information helps with your vacation planning. Don’t hesitate to come back if you have additional questions. You're as welcome as can be at planDisney!
Magical travels!
Matt
