Can I reserve park rides ahead of my trip??

    Hi Ruth!

    Welcome to planDisney!

The FastPass+ service was introduced to allow us to reserve a place in line, 30-60 days in advance for up to 3 attractions at any of the four theme parks at Walt Disney World Resort.  As we are still experiencing an ever-evolving situation, all FastPass+ reservations have been temporarily suspended to utilise the extra queueing areas for maintaining safer social distancing while waiting in line.  There is some good news, however, as theme park capacity is still operating on a limited basis so crowds should be lower and therefore queues to the attractions should also be reduced.  I recommend that you arrive at the parks as early as you can to make the most of your time, and keep your eye on the Disney Parks Blog for all the latest official updates about the FastPass+ service.

Along with our park admission tickets, we are also required to reserve our park days with Disney Park Passes.  You can reserve one park per day, with park hopping being reintroduced from 1st January 2021 after 2pm each day.  Park-to-park transport will also recommence in 2021.  Park passes are limited and subject to availability so once you have linked your park admission ticket to your My Disney Experience account I recommend you make your reservations at your earliest opportunity.  You can view the current availability of Disney Park Passes here, with dates available through mid-January 2022 (subject to change).

If you need to make any dining reservations, these can still be made up to 60 days in advance, either online or by using your My Disney Experience account.  As restaurants are operating on a reduced capacity it is more important than ever to make our reservations early.  You can change your plans nearer the time,  but please remember to make any cancellations at least 24 hours in advance to avoid the cancellation charge.

We may need a little more considered and careful planning, but our vacations to Walt Disney World Resort can still be a magical experience.  Please come back and ask as many questions as you like!  We are always happy to help you plan your vacation.
