Hello, Gayle. Thanks for stopping by planDisney to ask your question. Making a
park pass reservation is an easy process once you've done it a time or two and I'm here to help!
First, I'm assuming you have your Walt Disney World Theme Park tickets purchased and linked to your
MyDisneyExperience account. If not, that's the first thing you'll need to do. Next, I suggest taking a look at the
availability calendar to see what the theme park availability is like when you are vacationing at Walt Disney World. The calendar is broken down into three categories. You'll want to make sure you are viewing the calendar that corresponds with your vacation since each category has its own capacity limitations. The categories are Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, Guests with theme park tickets only and Annual Passholders. After you've viewed the calendar and have decided which park you'll be visiting on which day, it's time to make those reservations. You'll need to visit the
park pass reservation website, linked for you. On the homepage, you'll see a button that says, "Make A Park Pass Reservation", click that. The next page will prompt you to select your party. You'll see everyone that you are connected with on the friends and family list in your MyDisneyExperience account. You can select the people who will be joining you and hit "continue". A calendar will pop up next and you can select one of the days you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. I like to pick the first day of my trip as to not get confused but you can do it in any order. You are only able to make park pass reservations one day at a time. Once you've selected the calendar date, the theme parks that have availability will pop up and you will be able to select the one you'd like to make your park pass reservation for. After you've made your selection, you will be taken to a confirmation page with the option to make another park pass reservation. Follow those same steps for each day of your vacation. It may seem like a lot of steps but the website really does walk you through the whole process. If you have park hopper passes added to your ticket, I should mention that you only need to make a park pass reservation for the first park you plan to visit each day. Park hopping hours are now from 2:00 p.m. and last until each park closes. To park hop, you must enter the theme park with the park pass reservation before continuing on to another park each day.
Gayle, I am confident you are going to be able to make your park pass reservations with ease now. However, if you have any other questions or need more help on this topic, feel free to come back and
ask me.
Have fun!
