How do you reserve your park days if your tickets were purchased on an Air Force Base?

Hi Marsha, and welcome to planDisney!

I see your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort is just a few weeks away - hurray! There is so much pixie dust in the air all around the resort as part of The World's Most Magical Celebration, and the magic is calling you to join the fun.

As a military spouse, I would like to thank you for your service to our country, and it's my pleasure to help you make your Disney Park Pass reservations. Since you purchased your Military Promotional Theme Park Tickets on base, you might have ticket cards or an exchange certificate; exchange certificates come in a few different forms but often look like a business card. Take a look at the ticket type you have and identify the Ticket ID number, which is often printed on the back.

You'll need to log in to your My Disney Experience account (or create one) to link your tickets to each Guest. Using the mobile app, tap the three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner and then "Tickets and Passes." Next, use the "+" sign to "Link Tickets and Passes." On this screen, you'll see the option to scan a bar code (which you can do if you have a plastic ticket card with a bar code on the back) or manually enter the ticket ID. You may tap "Where is the ID number?" to see a variety of sample tickets with the Ticket ID location highlighted in blue. If you use the desktop version of My Disney Experience, the steps are very similar. Once the ticket ID is accepted, you can link the ticket to a Guest from your Family & Friends list. Follow those steps for each ticket.

Once the ticket is linked and assigned, you will be ready to make your theme park reservations. There's a handy video on the Disney Park Pass webpage that will walk you through the steps, and I think you'll find it's a breeze. If you do encounter any issues with linking your tickets, please call the My Disney Experience support team; sometimes those tickets can be a little tricky, but I've found the Cast Members on the phone to be very friendly and helpful.

Thank you for stopping by with your question, Marsha! As you continue to count down the days, be sure to read the Disney Parks Blog for the latest news and announcements from the theme parks, resorts, and Disney Springs. With two brand-new nighttime spectaculars - Disney Enchantment at Magic Kingdom Park and Harmonious at EPOT - plus delicious bites at the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, plus all the fall fun throughout the resort, you are going to have the most magical R&R this month. Enjoy it all!

    Wishing you much magic,
    Robyn
