Hello there, Deanna!
From one Floridian to another, welcome to planDisney! Getting around Disney World with ease makes the day that much more magical. It’s my pleasure to give you details about renting
ECVs (Electric Conveyance Vehicles) while at the theme parks.
The good news is that all four theme parks, the two
water parks, and
Disney Springs have motorized scooters available to rent. However, you won’t be able to reserve Disney ECVs. They are issued to Guests on a first come, first serve basis. To make sure that you get one, I recommend arriving at your destination earlier in the day.
AN EXTRA GEM: Going to multiple theme parks with a
Park Hopper ticket? Hakuna Matata! Return the scooter to the rental station, then show your receipt to the next theme park’s attendant to get another scooter.
If you’d rather reserve your ECV ahead of time or you plan on staying on property for an extended amount of time, check out Disney’s featured third-party provider, ScooterBug. This rental company will allow you to reserve early and can even deliver it to your Resort hotel.
Deanna, I hope that this answer helps. Take a look at the
Services for Guests with Mobility Needs webpage to get more information about accessibility for rides and shows. Please
reach out to us here at planDisney if you have any other Disney vacation planning questions. See you real soon!
Magic always,
LeAndra
