I would like to reserve the Grand One yacht for a fireworks cruise. Is this possible? How much might I expect to pay? Can we order food to be brought on board? Thank you!

Hi Katherine! Reserving the Grand One Yacht is truly a magical experience you will never forget during your stay at Walt Disney World. My family has had the pleasure to rent this many times over the past years including once when our son got engaged to his beautiful wife while on board.

Guests may reserve this yacht for a fireworks cruise or for any time during the day. The rate runs approximately $500 per hour and I strongly suggest using it for a two hour time period to get the most out of the experience. The captain will sail around the Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake and if you are choosing to watch the fireworks it will have a prime spot in front of the Magic Kingdom where you can hear the music piped through the sound system while watching the magnificent show. The Grand One can hold up to 17 persons but less then that is far more comfortable. There is a bathroom on board and inside areas if the weather is not cooperating. It is a beautiful yacht and a butler is on hand to give you the service you can expect with Disney.

You need to call the Grand Floridian marina to get the current pricing and availability. It has been a 90 days in advance reservation time but things change often so would call now to get the exact date that you can reserve a cruise. The number is 407-824-2439.

Food can definitely be ordered through the private dining at the Grand Floridian. You can order anything from cake and sweets to hot and cold appetizers or a full hot meal. Champagne, wine, cold drinks and more can all be ordered in advance and all of this will be at an additional cost to the cruise pricing.

Costly? Yes!  But it is worth it if your budget allows as it is such an elegant and private way to enjoy the magic of Disney for a few hours of your vacation!
