How do I reserve a Golf Cart

Hello and welcome to planDisney, Robin. Thanks for stopping by with your question.

Robin, I see you have a trip to the Most Magical Place On Earth coming up this summer. You are going to have so much fun! It will be here before you know it.

You can find golf cart rentals available at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, Robin. To reserve one ahead of time you can call 407-WDW-PLAY. Golf cart rentals are available for pick up around 1:00 p.m. and must be returned by around 11:00 a.m. Reservations are highly recommended and you can make them up to a year in advance. You may be able to secure a same-day rental once you are at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground but if you know you would like to rent one, I wouldn't risk it. Right now, golf cart rentals are $62.91 plus tax per day but do keep in mind that prices are subject to change at any time without warning. To rent a golf cart, you must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license. To drive a golf cart, drivers must be at least 16 years of age and have a valid driver's license and that license is required to be with the driver when operating the golf cart.

My family and I love to stay at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground and have rented a golf cart many times. It's so worth the price because the campground is really large and all of the fun stuff is pretty spread out. One thing I highly recommend doing if you are out tooling around on your golf cart one day is to stop by the Tri-Circle-D Ranch. In the stables there, you'll find Cinderella's ponies and the beautiful horses that march up and down Mainstreet U.S.A. at Magic Kingdom Park. They are so beautiful to look at and the Cast Members that work with the horses are fun and knowledgeable. It's a fun little spot to stop while you are there.

I hope this helps, Robin. If you have any other questions, please feel free to stop back by and ask me. I'm happy to help.

    Have a great week.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
