Hi Sebastien! I am sending neighborly greetings northward to you in Canada from my home down here in the States. I am happy to help you plan your Lightning Lane Passes for your upcoming summer trip, and there are a few important steps that will ensure smooth purchasing and booking.
The first step is to make sure all the members of your travel party are linked on your
Family & Friends list in the
My Disney Experience app. This will allow you to book attractions for all guests with eligible theme park admission.
Next, determine which type of Lightning Lanes you'd like to purchase.
Lightning Lane Multi Pass will allow you to book arrival windows for three attractions in advance from a tiered list for each theme park. On the day of your park visit, you'll be able to book additional selections after your first pre-booked attraction is redeemed and as you use the passes throughout the day. For the most in-demand rides,
Lightning Lane Single Pass is available. These attractions are not available via Multi Pass, but do still offer standby lines if you opt for Multi Pass alone. If you prefer to use the Lightning Lane at each attraction without the need to book arrival windows, look into the
Lightning Lane Premier Pass option. It is also possible to purchase each of these options in combination with each other. For example, you could purchase Multi Pass at EPCOT to book Test Track, Soarin' Around the World, and Mission: SPACE, and also purchase a Single Pass for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. Just keep in mind that all Lightning Lane offerings are subject to availability, and attractions can change or close without notice.
As a guest of a Disney Resort hotel, you may purchase and book your Lightning Lanes 7 days in advance of your arrival date for the length of your stay up to 14 days. Pricing varies by date and by theme park, and you can see pricing 21 days in advance in the My Disney Experience app. Booking begins at 7AM ET, sharp!
I am wishing you a fantastic visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth, Sebastien! Come back and see us here at planDisney if you need additional Lightning Lane help or are seeking other planning tips. We are more than happy to assist.
Stay magical,
Scott
