Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney, Melanie. We're so glad you stopped by! We'd love to help you plan your upcoming visit to the
Walt Disney World Resort.
It looks like you'll be arriving in just a few days. How exciting! And you must be traveling with
little ones in tow, which is even
more exciting. A Disney vacation is always magical, but exceptionally so when you experience it with little Mousketeers!
Exploring the theme parks requires a lot of walking, and little legs tire quickly!
Single and double strollers are available to rent from all four theme parks and Disney Springs. These stroller rentals can't be reserved ahead of time, though. They're available on a first-come, first-served basis when you arrive at the theme parks. Availability is limited, but I've never seen a stroller shortage, so there's no need to worry! If you'd prefer the reliability of knowing you have a single and double stroller reserved ahead of time, you may want to consider renting from ScooterBug, Disney's Featured Rental Provider. This Orlando-based rental company will deliver stroller rentals right to your Disney Resorts Collection hotel! The nice thing about this option is that you'll have the strollers on hand as you travel between the theme parks and your Disney Resort hotel. My preschooler is often much too tired to walk from the theme park exit to the transportation terminals, so we're always glad to have a stroller with us on our way back to our hotel at the end of a pixie-dusted day.
I recommend taking something along with you to mark your strollers. Finding them among a sea of others in the designated stroller parking areas can be tricky! I always tie Mickey Mouse ribbons around the handlebar of our stroller, but I've seen Guests use balloons, nameplates, and even battery-operated twinkle lights!
I hope this was helpful, Melanie. I'm wishing you a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
