Your
Advanced Dining Reservation booking window will open at 6 AM Eastern, 60 days prior to your resort check-in date if you’re staying at a
Disney World resort. At that time, you will be able to book dining for your entire vacation. If you’re staying off property, that booking window will open at 6 AM Eastern, 60 days prior to the specific date for which you’d like the reservation.
I always like to use a date calculator to determine the specific date and add a reminder in my calendar so I don’t miss it.
Now, let’s chat about the
Fantasmic! Dining Package. We booked one of these on our last trip and felt like it was so worth it!
When trying to make a dining reservation for such a big party, you may or may not find availability. If you’re having trouble finding availability, I recommend splitting up into two groups and making two dining reservations for similar times. Then, when you check into the restaurant, you can let them know that you’re together and request to be seated together or near each other. Although it’s not guaranteed, they’ll try their best to honor that request.
It’s good to note that the dining times for the Fantasmic! Dining Package are somewhat limited for dinner. You’ll often notice that the latest dining time for the package may be a bit earlier than you would normally eat dinner. This ensures that you have plenty of time to eat and make your way over to
Fantasmic! before it starts.
Pending availability, you can also book breakfast or lunch as part of the package if those dining times work better for you.
