Is there a way to reserve dining for a large party under 2 tables and ask that the tables are next to each other? I can't seem to make group reservations for character dining for a party of 9

Hi Megumi! Thanks for dropping by planDisney.

Sometimes dining reservations for large parties are limited or unavailable at certain dining locations. I'm sorry if this is frustrating! I recently was attempting to book for a large group and also ran into this difficulty. My recommendation is to book two or three smaller tables at roughly the same time. When you arrive, speak with the Cast Member you check in with, and ask to be seated as closely together as possible. It might mean you have to wait a little longer, but they will attempt to do their best to make magic happen for you.

One of my favorite Attractions to ride as a big group is Pirates of the Caribbean in New Orleans Square at Disneyland Park. It's such an iconic ride, and the ride vehicles are large enough that your group can be seated together in the same boat, which makes the experience that much more fun. Heave ho!

Visiting Disneyland Resort with a large group is always the best. I love planning big group trips regardless of the challenges like finding dining spots that can fit all the merriment. Big groups make for more fun and the best memories. Be sure to capture your memories with Disney's PhotoPass Service. Everyone can be in the picture, and the photographers are so talented.

    Have a magical day!
