Welcome to planDisney, Troy, thanks for stopping by with your question!
I’m delighted to help plan your dream trip to
The Most Magical Place on Earth… let the memories begin!
It sounds like your park tickets are purchased, and you’re ready to start making your pixie dusted plans, so let’s dive straight into your question about park reservations!
I’m happy to share that
theme park reservations are no longer required for date-based tickets. A date-based ticket requires you to choose a start date when you purchase your ticket. So it sounds like you have another ticket type where theme park reservations may be required.
Firstly, be sure to link your park tickets to your
My Disney Experience account. Once you have done this, making your park reservations in the
My Disney Experience app couldn’t be simpler!
Tap the + at the bottom of the screen to get started. Select
Make or Modify Park Reservations from the list. Choose from
Tickets or
Hotel Reservation, then follow the steps to make your reservation at your selected park!
Top Tip: You can enjoy even more time exploring the parks when you use
Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering in your My Disney Experience app! It's a great tool to help you save time waiting in line for your food by pre-ordering for pick-up during a designated return time. Some of my favourite spots for mobile food ordering are
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo at Hollywood Studios,
Regal Eagle Smokehouse at EPCOT, and the delicious Shrimp Skewer Platter from
Columbia Harbour House at Magic Kingdom.
I hope this helps make your upcoming trip practically perfect in every way, Troy. If you have any more questions, stop by and see the
planDisney panel anytime.
Sending faith, trust, and pixie dust,
Abi
