How and when can you reserve your check in time? Clothing types for a 6 yr old on 3 night Bahamian cruise in early February? Which clubs are best for him? So VERY excited, I just know I'm gonna forget something or miss something, please help :)

    Ahoy, Elizabeth!!

I can hear the excitement in your voice as you prepare for your February cruise! No worries about forgetting something or missing anything - that's what we're here for. Feel free to ask as many questions as you want before you set sail!

Guests will choose their Port Arrival Time when they complete their Online Check-In. This system is in place to spread guests' arrivals over several hours on the morning of embarkation. This helps create a smoother check-in experience and shorter wait times because the terminal won't be packed with everyone arriving at once. When sailing from Port Canaveral, arrival times will be spread from 10:00am through around 3:30pm in half hour increments. Actual boarding of the ship begins around 11:00am, or could begin as late as noon.

In February, the temps for your Bahamian cruise will typically range from 65-77 degrees. While that doesn't sound too warm, the pools are heated, and on our last cruise it was plenty warm enough to hang out in the sun on the pool deck. The ocean water at Castaway Cay might be a little chilly, but there were lots of cruisers out in the water when we were there in February. Make sure to pack sweaters/sweatshirts and light jackets/long pants for evening, as it can be a bit cool on deck when the ship is moving.

I'm happy to hear your son plans to enjoy the awesome Youth Clubs onboard. At six years old, he fits in the age range for the Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab, where he can play and interact with other cruisers his age. The Club and Lab are connected, and kids can move freely between the two. Energetic, highly-trained Youth Counselors are on hand to keep the fun going from morning until night!
