How do I Reserve character dining

Hello Gerardo, and welcome to planDisney!

It's a Bibbidi Bobbidi BEAUTIFUL day! The Disneyland Resort theme parks are once again welcoming Guests back home to a land of magic. Be sure to follow along from home on social media so you don't miss any of the excitement.

During the initial reopening period, some experiences will be unavailable to maintain appropriate health and safety protocols. At this time, character dining is not part of our world, but I recommend checking the Dining & Restaurant Updates and Disney Parks Blog from time to time to see when you'll be able to enjoy a meal alongside your favorite Disney pals once again.

In the meantime, I encourage you to take a look at restaurants that will be open during your visit. Advance reservations are suggested for any table-service experience, and you can make those by clicking on Dining - Make Reservations from the "Things to Do" dropdown menu on the main Disneyland Resort page. When Goofy is back in his kitchen, this will be where you'll go to reserve a meal with him and his chef pals.

I wish I could tell you when you'll have the opportunity to dine with the Disney characters, Gerardo, but for now, just stay tuned for more information. Even though your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth may look a little different during the initial reopening phase, there is still plenty to mouseke-do! Best wishes as you journey to the lands of yesterday, tomorrow, and fantasy, and we'll see ya real soon.

Greetings! I'm Betsy, a middle school teacher, wife, and mom of two. My family and I love to travel the world, but our best memories are those made when we're visiting Walt Disney World or Disneyland Resort. No matter how many times we visit, there is always something new to see, ride, or eat at the Disney Parks. Learn More About Betsy
