Castaway Cay is always a highlight of a Disney Cruise. The Family Cabanas and Serenity Bay Cabanas are amazing, as they include chairs, an outdoor shower, sunscreen products, a mini fridge with soft drinks and water, and complimentary bike rentals and snorkel gear.
Because the Cabanas are exceptional in every way, the demand is higher than the supply. They will quickly sell out when bookings open up. The good news is that guests' plans change and there could be a cabana cancelation. Check the website often as you may find an open cabana. If you do see one, secure it quickly as it will not last! Your other option is to head to Guest Services as soon as you board the ship. Ask to be put on the waitlist for a cabana. If there is a last-minute cancelation, you will be notified of your cabana number, and your onboard guest folio will be charged accordingly.
I hope you are able to book a cabana, but if not, no worries! Castaway Cay has plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas so your day will still be full of sun and fun. Pack your beach bag with sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, and sand toys. Towels will be provided as you exit the ship. If you forgot any of your beach necessities, there are plenty of shops on the island for beach goodies!
