Hi Amy! Welcome to planDisney.
The re-opening of
Blue Bayou Restaurant has me dreaming of their
signature Monte Cristo Sandwich and a 21 Royal Street Julep. Drool! I know so many Guests are eager for reservations at this iconic Disneyland Park restaurant - both for the delicious cuisine and a chance to dine while watching Pirates of the Caribbean boats drift past.
My best advice for securing your reservation at Blue Bayou Restaurant is to keep trying. You may use either the
Disneyland dining reservation webpage or the Disneyland app, but check back multiple times a day. The reservation calendar is dynamic, so when Guests cancel their reservations, you have a chance to pick them up. As your visit gets closer, your chances will get better as that is traditionally when Guests begin to change their plans. I'm sending pixie-dusted wishes that you snag that reservation!
You may also visit Blue Bayou on the day of your visit to see if they have
walk-up availability. While it's never guaranteed, several of my fellow panelists have had luck in recent months.
Amy, as Snow White sings, "I'm wishing" that you have good luck getting that reservation. As you count down to your November visit, be sure to read the
Disney Parks Blog for all the latest news and updates. One of my favorite features is the Foodie Guides to the theme parks; as you enter the merriest season, there will be some delicious holiday treats available for you to sample, and the Disney Parks Blog will point you in the right direction. If you have any more questions as you plan and dream, please come back and see us here at planDisney.
Wishing you much magic,
Robyn
