How to reserve an attraction at star wars

Bright suns, Richard! Consider me your Jedi Master! Follow me Padawan. I’ll teach you the ways of mastering Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

First things first! Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is a large section within Disney’s Hollywood Studios! To experience the Star Wars attractions Guests need a valid theme park ticket and park reservation for Disney’s Hollywood Studios. You do not need a separate ticket for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. It is included as a part of your ticket to Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

There are two (stunning) rides in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge! They are Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run! There are a few ways for Guests to experience these attractions. As the Mandalorian would say, “This is the way.”

First, Guests are welcome to wait in the traditional line for the attractions. You might hear this commonly referred to as the “standby line” or “standby queue.” The wait times for these lines vary by park attendance for the day. The traditional line is available for both attractions.

Now, if you want to move your wait time to light speed, Guests can purchase Disney Genie+. This ticket “add on” will allow you select certain attractions within Disney’s Hollywood Studios to experience a shorter wait. This option is available for Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. You can also use your Disney Genie+ purchase for many other attractions throughout Disney’s Hollywood Studios! You can purchase Disney Genie+, on your My Disney Experience app, beginning at 7:00 AM the morning of your visit to Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

And, if you’d like to expedite your wait time for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, you can purchase an Individual Lightning Lane pass for this attraction. The Lightning Lane fee will allow you to select a time to return to the attraction where you will be able to skip the traditional line and experience a shorter wait.

Richard, May the Force be with you! Happy planning!
