If I have reservations for the World of Color dining experience on June 5th will I still be able to view the world of color show if the show time is 9pm, but the park closes at 9 because of grad nite?

Hi there, Scott! Welcome to planDisney and I'm so glad you chose to bring your question to us for some help in planning your upcoming visit to Disneyland Resort! Just a couple more weeks until you're in the middle of all the magic awaiting you there.

I'm glad you are aware of the Grad Nite event taking place during your visit and that you know how to view the theme park operating hours and entertainment schedules so that you can make plans accordingly. This is often one of the first places I start when planning my own family's vacation. Indeed, you'll find that on dates with a Grad Nite event, Disney California Adventure Park typically closes at 9 PM. However, World of Color - ONE is scheduled to show at that very same time. Guests who do not have a special event ticket will be able to view this nighttime spectacular, and then they will exit the theme park directly after. Showtimes are subject to change, but you can find out more information on the Hours & Events calendar or in the Disneyland mobile app.

Since you've already booked a World of Color Dining Package, you'll have a wonderful meal at one of the select dining locations, plus access to the preferred viewing area for each Guest purchasing the dining package. You'll receive a voucher for the preferred viewing area after your dining experience, which will list the showtime and recommended arrival time for the viewing area before the show begins. If you haven't yet seen this nighttime spectacular, I  think you are going to love World of Color - ONE. It celebrates so many amazing Disney stories about how any of us could be inspired to make one small action that leads to big change. From Moana, to Ratatouille, and from Star Wars to Marvel's Avengers, you'll see them displayed in projections, water fountains, lasers, and pyrotechnics, all celebrating the legacy of Disney storytelling. After all, it just takes ONE! I hope this is a sparkling finale to your very special day in Disney California Adventure Park, Scott!

If you have other questions that come up over the next few weeks, or anytime you're looking for some additional advice on Disney vacation planning, I hope you'll think of planDisney again! We're always happy to help our fellow Guests make the most magical memories imaginable.

    Magically yours,
