We have reservations for the World of Color desert party on Friday 3/29. The current forecast is for rain on that night. If it does rain, will the tables be covered with umbrellas?

    Hello, Lubi!

Oh, I am so excited for you! The World of Color Dessert Party is the absolute BEST way to enjoy World of Color - ONE. You are going to love it!

Having enjoyed this dessert party many times, I can tell you that the tables and seating area really can't support umbrellas, although you may be allowed to use your own. So if it rains, plan to dress accordingly! Ponchos are great, especially ones long enough to cover your seat. The show will usually run unless there are high winds or thunder and lightning, but if the show itself is totally canceled the website does say that party guests will be refunded. If you decide you don't want to risk the weather then you must cancel your reservation at least 24 hours in advance.

I would recommend keeping a close eye on the forecast in the next few days to see how it looks. Hopefully things will clear up a little and you can enjoy the show without getting too damp! When it comes to rainy days in the parks I've been the most successful when I have waterproof shoes, spare dry socks, a nice sturdy poncho, a small umbrella, and a good sense of adventure. If the rain catches you by surprise then you can ask Cast Members at merchandise locations where you can purchase a poncho.

Some of my favorite days in the parks have been rainy ones, Lubi! I hope you'll get blue skies and sunshine, but even if a few clouds head your way I know you can find a way to make it magical.

    Keep moving forward!
