We have reservations at Wilderness lodge. Due to hectic work schedules unsure of what part of week my sons are coming. Planning on buying park passes closer to our scheduled vacation. Will we be the only ones in the park without fast passes?

    Hi Cynthia,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It sounds like you are planning a wonderful family trip. Disney's Wilderness Lodge is a beautifully themed resort!

Your suspicion might be correct - I would never go without making Fast Pass+ selections. These are just a must-do. I suggest that you buy your theme park tickets and make Fast Pass+ selections, then change them if you need to modify. I would not wait. Fast Pass+ selections are not unlimited, so the earlier you can book them, the better! Make your Fast Pass+ selections for the most popular rides first. Check availability on your preferred dates and make those selections if they are available.

When we make our Fast Pass+ selections, we tend to make those initial three Fast Pass+ selections in the morning so that we can add a fourth Fast Pass+ in the afternoon. Prior to making your Fast Pass+ selections, be sure to consult with your family and prioritize the attractions you want to experience. Once you login to make them, the process should move quickly. Finally, be sure to make them in some sort of geographic order so that you are not marching back and forth across the park unnecessarily.

Cynthia, Fast Pass+ saves us so much time in line. We simply cannot imagine ever visiting a park without reserving those ride time windows!

    Happy Planning!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
