We have reservations in a week or so at a Disney hotel. Is there a way to rent a car or is there a rental car company on-site at Disney?

Hi Clair, and welcome to planDisney!

I love it when the clock starts ticking louder the closer I get to my planned Walt Disney World Resort vacation! I know you are ready to begin your magical stay in the coming days!

As a fellow car renter, I can confirm that you can rent a car while you are on the Disney Property if you choose not to rent a car from the airport. You can rent the vehicle from The Car Care Center - Car Rental Facility near Magic Kingdom Park. The best part about this location is that Complimentary shuttle service from select Walt Disney World Resort hotels to the Disney Car Care Center Car Rental Facility can be arranged by calling (407) 824-3470 ext. 1. In addition, you can return the car after-hours, especially if you rent from Alamo. If you decide to utilize the after-hours vehicle return, you will drop the keys in the provided dropbox. Still, you must arrange private transportation back to your resort because the shuttle service will be unavailable. If you decide to rent a car from this location, you can book your rental online before your arrival.

Please let us know if you have additional questions before your arrival.

    Have a magical experience!
