Hello I have reservations for the 1st week of December. I would like to book my park visits for Disneyland and California Adventure.

Hi there, Gerard! Welcome to planDisney!

How wonderful that you’ll be visiting The Happiest Place on Earth during the first week of December—what an enchanting time of year to experience the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort! Both parks will be decked out in twinkling lights, festive décor, and that unmistakable Disney magic around every corner. And since your visit is less than two months away, we better get to planning!

Making park reservations is super easy and only takes a minute or two to complete! Simply head to the theme park reservations page on the Disneyland Resort website. Click “Make or Modify Park Reservations,” then select “Book Theme Park Reservation.” From there, you’ll select your ticket, then choose your date and the park you’d like to visit. If your ticket includes the Park Hopper feature, you’ll pick your starting park—and then beginning at 11 AM on the day of your visit, you’ll be free to hop between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park as much as you’d like! I especially love Park Hopper tickets for the flexibility to bounce between parks for favorite snacks, shows, or attractions throughout the day.

If you’re using the Disneyland mobile app, you can make park reservations there too. Simply open the app, tap the plus (+) sign at the bottom, and select “Make a Park Reservation.” The app will guide you through the same easy steps to confirm your visit.

The great news is that park reservations are quite flexible! If your plans change—say you decide to trade a peaceful morning on “it’s a small world” Holiday for the thrilling drops of Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!—you can modify your reservation as long as availability remains for your preferred park. This is also handy if you book dining reservations and need to switch parks to match. Just be sure to make changes as early as possible for the best chance of securing your new park choice.

You’ll also be visiting at an especially exciting time, Gerard! Not only will you get to experience the holiday festivities, but you’ll also be part of the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration—a milestone honoring seven decades of imagination, innovation, and happiness. It’s the kind of uniquely Disney magic where multiple celebrations intertwine to create something even more spectacular, making your visit truly one to remember.

Here’s wishing you a merry and memorable getaway filled with dazzling sights, heartwarming moments, and all the wonder that comes from celebrating both the season and seventy years of Disney dreams come true!

    Have a magical day!
