Hi Penelope,
Welcome to planDisney!
When the Disney Parks Blog announced that
The Holiday Season Returns to Walt Disney Word Resort, the excitement was real! After the Christmas holiday, be sure to enjoy the
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. One of our favorite events used to be The
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays Candlelight Processional. It is temporarily paused right now and, sadly, we have no word on when or if it might return. Stay tuned to the
Disney Parks Blog for any updates prior to your arrival!
Since we do not yet have a complete schedule of events for the dates of your visit, I suggest that you pay attention to the
park hours for each park on the days of your visit. On check-in day, we typically visit the park that is staying open the latest. We generally get to the parks before or right at park opening. And we plan our
advanced dining reservations accordingly, to maximize our park time but to also take a break during the day.
You might also want to see what happens when you make your advanced dining reservations. I have sometimes changed our park visit plans if I could not get a dining reservation for a certain day. Given that you already have
Disney Park Pass system reservations, when your
dining reservation window opens, if you can only get certain dining reservations on certain days, see if you can change those park passes by checking the
theme park reservation availability calendar.Penelope, I wish I had more specific event news! Honestly, however, I think you are in good shape since you already have park pass reservations. When additional event details are released, remember to check the theme park reservation availability calendar. You may be able to cancel your existing park passes and make new ones!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
