    Hello! I have reservations for a WDW visit Jan 5-9, 2016. How is the weather during this time usually? Should we stick w just pants or are skirts w winter leggings manageable along w coats? Thank you!

    Hi there Victoria,

    Florida weather is generally pretty mild in January compared to other areas of the country but I can't guarantee this will always be the case.  I have visited in ice and snow where gloves, hats, and pocket warmers were a necessity... although this was a rarity.  I think you'll be absolutely fine with leggings and skirts.  Some days could potentially even be hot comparatively.  Layers are going to be key and also bring along light jackets, sweatshirts, and also rain coats or umbrellas since January could experience sporadic showers.  Also, if you have stiller-aged children, a lap blanket is never a bad idea to use during the fireworks in the evening just in case.

    Just be sure to check the weather forecast leading up to the trip and kind of gauge it that way!  Generally speaking, you could expect warm sunny days that could develop into chilly nights!  Dress in layers and plan for a shower or two!
