Hello Darlene,
Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for stopping by with such a great question!
One of my favorite parts of a
Walt Disney World Resort vacation isn’t necessarily the rides, shows, or even evenings spent on the shores of Seven Seas Lagoon watching Happily Ever After. What makes my visits special is the incredible variety of food and drink available. From classic snacks like a Mickey ice cream bar to flavorful quick service meals and to white tablecloth dining experiences, there truly is something to satisfy every palate.
Victoria & Albert’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is the pinnacle of fine dining at Walt Disney World. Because of its reputation and limited seating, reservations are highly sought after and can be very competitive to secure. Dining reservations typically open 60 days in advance, and the best way to book is through your
My Disney Experience app or the Walt Disney World website. I recommend logging in early in the morning when your reservation window opens to maximize your chances. If you are unable to secure a table right away, don’t give up hope. Guests frequently adjust their plans, so keep checking back as you get closer to your vacation dates. There is also a reservation phone number listed on the restaurant’s website, so you can always give that a call to see if the Cast Member can make some magic happen; you never know!
If you are not able to reserve a table at Victoria & Albert’s, many other restaurants across Walt Disney World Resort provide equally magical experiences. At
Sanaa in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village, you can enjoy an authentic African-inspired meal while gazing out at animals roaming the savanna. The bread service here is a guest favorite and something you absolutely should not miss. Another option I love is
Narcoossee’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. If you time your reservation close to the evening fireworks, you can enjoy Happily Ever After either from your table with the music piped in or from the private dock that wraps around the restaurant. For a truly unforgettable view,
California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort offers a rooftop vantage point of Magic Kingdom Park. Watching the fireworks from the dining room or the outdoor viewing area is an experience that will stay with you forever.
If you have any other questions or would like some personalized recommendations for dining inside the parks,
I would be more than happy to share some of my favorite restaurants, dishes, and cocktails with you.
Cheers,
Brent
